1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Travel with RJ website (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Booking & Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team. A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation (via email or WhatsApp) from Travel with RJ along with a booking reference number.

• Advance Payment: A non-refundable advance payment (as specified in the package details) is required to secure your seat on any trip. The remaining balance must be cleared before the trip departure date, as per the schedule provided in your itinerary.
• Group Size: Our trips are conducted in small groups to ensure a personalized experience. The minimum and maximum group size may vary depending on the destination and package.
• Travel Documents: It is the traveler's responsibility to carry valid government-issued ID proofs (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.) required for hotel check-ins and travel permits (e.g., Inner Line Permits for certain regions).
• Health & Fitness: Some trips involve trekking or high-altitude travel. Travelers must ensure they are medically fit to undertake the journey. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

3. Payment Terms

We accept payments through various methods including bank transfer, UPI, and major credit/debit cards. All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

• Advance Amount: Typically 30% to 50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
• Balance Payment: The balance payment must be made at least 15 days prior to the departure date, or as specified in your booking confirmation.
• Late Payment: Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the advance amount.
• Taxes & Fees: All applicable taxes (GST) and fees are included in the package price unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible while considering the costs we incur in advance for accommodation, transport, and other arrangements.

• 30+ days before departure: 75% of the total trip cost (excluding advance) will be refunded.
• 15-29 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost (excluding advance) will be refunded.
• 7-14 days before departure: 25% of the total trip cost (excluding advance) will be refunded.
• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund will be provided.
• No Show: If a traveler fails to join the trip on the departure date, the entire amount will be forfeited.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method. In case of unforeseen circumstances (natural calamities, government restrictions, etc.), Travel with RJ reserves the right to modify the itinerary or offer a credit note for future trips instead of a cash refund.

5. Itinerary Changes & Flexibility

While we strive to follow the planned itinerary, travel is inherently subject to variables such as weather, road conditions, political situations, and other unforeseen circumstances. Travel with RJ reserves the right to modify the itinerary, accommodation, or transport arrangements if deemed necessary for the safety and well-being of the group.

Any additional costs incurred due to such changes (e.g., extra hotel nights, alternative transport) will be borne by the travelers. Conversely, if any component is canceled without replacement, a proportionate refund will be provided.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

All travelers are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disrupt the group or violate any local laws. Travel with RJ reserves the right to remove any traveler from the trip if their behavior is deemed harmful or disruptive to the group or local communities. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

• Punctuality: Travelers are requested to be on time for all scheduled departures, activities, and group meetings. The trip leader will not wait for latecomers beyond a reasonable grace period.
• Luggage: Each traveler is responsible for their own luggage. Portage is not included unless explicitly mentioned in the package.
• Safety: Travelers must follow safety instructions provided by the trip leader or local guides, especially during adventure activities like trekking, rafting, etc.
• Local Laws: Respect local customs, traditions, and laws of the destination. Travel with RJ will not be responsible for any legal consequences arising from a traveler's violation of local regulations.

7. Liability & Insurance

Travel with RJ acts as a facilitator and organizer of travel services. We work with third-party operators for transport, accommodation, and activities. While we carefully select our partners, we cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or accident caused by these third parties.

• Personal Injury: Travelers participate in any adventure activities (trekking, water sports, etc.) at their own risk. It is strongly recommended to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and baggage loss.
• Force Majeure: Travel with RJ shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, or government restrictions.
• Valuables: Travelers are advised to keep their valuables (cash, jewelry, electronics) secure at all times. Travel with RJ is not responsible for any theft or loss of personal belongings during the trip.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Travel with RJ or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. User-Generated Content

If you share photos, reviews, testimonials, or other content with us (via WhatsApp, email, or social media), you grant Travel with RJ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and publish such content for promotional purposes across our website and social media channels.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chandigarh, Haryana, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website or our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.
